Placement visit
Your first visit
A short time in the warm pool so the instructor can suggest a stage. It is for you and your child together.
- 01
Step 1: Book a time
Choose a placement visit on our enrollment page. It takes about twenty minutes, and the instructor asks what your child likes.
- 02
Step 2: Arrive a little early
Come fifteen minutes before. Rinse at the showers, change, and bring a towel for each of you.
- 03
Step 3: Get in together
You and your child go in with the instructor, who stays close and shows you what to try.
- 04
Step 4: Choose a stage
Afterward the instructor suggests a stage and a class time, and you register on the enrollment page.

What the adult does
You are the one your child holds on to.
You hold, support and follow the instructor's lead, and you can stop whenever your child needs a break. If your child has had enough, we get out and try again another day.
Grandparents and other caregivers are welcome to be the adult in the water. Tell us at the visit if you would like a hand getting in or out of the pool.
